Question

Well me perfect everyday car would be Peugeot 206 Coupe/Convertable with the chassis/engine/drivetrain of a Impreza STi 7 and the the build quality of a Merc E-class.

Could it ever happen, unlikely, but the 206 is the perfect size for me, rarely use the rear seats, but do need them for family transport. Convertables have problems but these are overcome with the foldaway metal roof.

Oh and it would have to be very cheap as well, can't really afford to develop it myself.

What car/car combinations do you desire???

Wouldn't get too excited about Mercedes build quality, to add to the woes of my Sti engine going sick recently my other halves mercedes E class threw a rod and wrecked its engine last month, the resulting seizure destroyed the torque convertor and the rod end smashed the starter motor.I thought Scooby bits were dear till then but Mercedes know how to charge well to, I wont tell you how much a new 220multivalve engine block is........

The punch per £ of the Impreza

The simple classic lines of the Calibra

The build quality of a Merc/BMW

The 'free extras' of a Nissan

The mpg of a Citreon 2CV!!!!!

Oh, yes, 4 doors would be great too!!

With proper SILVER wheels!!

Pete

NO NO NO to Gold Wheels, leopard skin seat covers, furry dice, drainpipe exhaust and anything else with smells of TACK, TACK, TACK!!

Cool

An F355 built by Volkswagon would be fine. Or a Morris Minor built on the new M3 running gear.
But I think I can manage with the scoob for now

Pete, you've come out with some classics in your time, but this is the best yet.

Preserve this thread in the hall of fame, for it is how a troll should be formed

Brilliant - love it

Cool

Kav, ROTFLMAO

My perfect car WAS going to be the SLK32AMG, but as every car review has rubished Mercedes' claims of handling and general driver feel I guess my money can stay in the bank for a while and I'll stay with the RB5WR for a bit longer
