How long should it take the temp guage to reach normal temperature from cold as ours seems to get there very quick?

Cheers

Bear in mind that's the water temperature (about 5 mins), but the oil will take 10-15mins to really heat through, so be patient before thrashing it!

my water temp takes about 2 miles to get to normal but my oil temp takes about 5 miles to get to 80-90degrees C. Takes 3 miles to move from the 50 degrees C starting point.
