You could always buy a UK-Continent-UK day return and a Continent-UK-Continent one and just use the outward (Continent-UK) bit of that for the new car.

Hoverspeed do a 'car collecting' deal -- i.e. they expect one car going out and two coming back. I can't remember how much it was -- I think about 90 quid but it's peanuts compared to how much you save.

Question

Got to collect car form continent (not Scooby this time, just a Ford).

Only cheap tickets seem to be day returns. Want to take one car over so can use cheap day return and bring 2 cars back.

Thought about getting a second day return and only using return leg for car we're bringing back.

Has anyone tried this and no of any probs. Both Chunnel and P&O say should pay for single full fare ticket for importing car - but then again they would.
