Question

I've been told you get a quicker turbo pickup, but no actual bhp improvement. Is this the only effect? Is it worth it?

Also, does it make the exhaust significantly louder? I have an aftermarket backbox, and don't particularly want further increases in noise. (97 5-door WRX, non STi).

Any other thoughts? Ta.

A DP will make more noise. AFAIK power and torque has increased as well as turbo spool up and it's ability to goto the red line in 3rd and above.

I now use 4th instead of 3rd for alot of overtakes.

I heartily recomend one.
