Hi
The top hose nozzle snapped off on my MY96(the one that feeds coolant to the turbo)...water everywhere.

Luckily I was almost home when it went so no damage done. I replaced it with a metal tank from Midland Impreza £60. ( Grade A do them too) You need to fettle a mounting plate to get it to fit..but its not difficult.

According to Midland and Grade A this a common problem with the plastic tanks.

I would recommend this mod to anyone with a plastic tank, cos if it goes on the motorway and you dont spot the temp. gauge rising then its knackered turbo or engine.

Denis

Certainly is a common problem i did mine 3 days before going to the ring and if it wasn't for Pete Croney i wouldn't have gone.
