Thanks for your replies !

Chunk, witch model ?
wrx01/wrx02 ? with decat/not ? with ecu/not ? with bigger tires than stock/not ? etc...

Nigel,
clutches = wearing to fast/or not smooth ?
front tire pb due to bad front drive-train geometry ?

(i'd like to make this post a reference for new/future WRX's owner... for them to know what to do to get their car "tuned" the good way !)

- Another "problem" :
I heard about & (have tested it) : irregular acceleration on WRX Y01, due to ecu programming (in "greenpeace mode"), i heard that using ecu "tuning" i.e. replacement, that's gone... (feel free to complete this information).

Bien venu Cat,

I've had one for 8 months and so far all is OK. From reading others comments, I think the only major problems are interior rattles, clutches and front tyre wear. Now the search is working again you should be able to find out some more on all of these.

Over-sensitive ABS, flatspot around 3,800rpm, rattles, uglyness and general lack of oomph below 4Krpm were the reasons I sold mine.

Cat,

Clutches judder (not smooth). This is a problem when cold mostly, I also guess the problem comes if you like doing lots of grand prix style starts.

Tyre wear seems to be caused by a large tolerance in the standard settings. There's more on this in the tyres section
