I would hazard a guess that Craig is

although I would be lying cos I actually know that he is.

It is interesting that Harj says you can send this stuff through the post, which is useful where octane boosters are concerned.

It would be wise to treat everything harj says as bollocks.

I hate to admit it, but he might actually be right on this one ............bugger!

I've been trying it out and can say that at full strength the Black formula makes my car feel much stronger and definitely increases performance.

The only problem is that there appears to be some confusion over how exactly how to use it.

I'm waiting for clarification on this. It would certainly be way too expensive to use at full strength all the time, but the bottle says to refill your tank after you've used half the fuel (without putting any more booster in).

We shall see...
but it certainly looks promising so far.

Cheers

Tis very nice with JD and coke.

It makes the car feel very strong.

Use 1/5 of the bottle per tank.

Or the full bottle in the first and then the half empty to half full routine for an excellent RON advantage.

Question

Any chance of some sort of table for mix ratio or some thing like that.

Just for us stupid types

TY

Ian

ps it does seem to make the car seem "less stressed" when pushing hard.

1 bottle is £13.

This either:

treats 300 litres (5 Scoob tanks) and raises SUL to 99.8

or

treats 1 tank of SUL and raises it to 102.

Concentration mix is between 1 and 5%

If you go for the 1% mix, it will cost £2.60 per tank.

Vials are provided in 50ml size.

Cheers

Feedback ???

Yes, actually.

I've been out with Pat today, as we were doing some data logging on a project on the WRX.

When we first started out (approx 1.30pm, 25degC) we were still using the last 1/3rd of a tank from my trip to Holland. This was euro 98 RON. The Select Monitor was showing typically 4 degrees and peaking occasionally at 6 degrees of retardation, at full hoof through the gears.

We used up this fuel and then put in 20 litres of 95 octane (a planned part of the afternoon's work). The retardation went to typically 7 degrees, frequently peaking at 9 degrees in the same conditions.

This fuel was used up and we filled the tank with 54 litres of SUL 97 RON (Shell, 4.30pm 25degC) and threw in a whole bottle of NF that Pat had bought. Retardation was typically 5 degrees, peaking at 7 degrees.

It was certainly better than the 95 octane, but the car was not as good as the 98 French fuel, on which it had been flying earlier in the day.

The Select Monitor figures were not dissimilar to those using the two other octane enhancers I have tried.

I can repeat the test for anyone else, if they catch the fuel bill, but I think you will find Pat to be reliably independant and he was reading the graphs.

Craig, when are you getting this lab tested?

The bottle is marked "flammable" so it would be a criminal offence to send this through the post. Just a tiny bit lower down the scale to sending Semtex. The same applies to most carriers, unless you send it as a flamable substance.

Business Post have been informed of the product and are happy to carry it.

It's sent by them, not thru mail.
As posted by Dingy above.

The products will be tested later this week, early next week.

Pete,

Would you be so kind as to put up the other test results?

Just for a comparison for when we have our independant tests done. See how comparable they are.

Thanks.

Red face

hi pete
very interesting. but with all due respect, you have not really proved any thing unfortunately apart from that the car felt better with 97shell+NF booster.

to make any comparison you should have filled up from that shell 97 ron station done couple of blasts with the select monitor then came back filled up again and then added the NF booster and done the same thing. i think the fuel varies from one pump to the other so much that the 97 ron you used could have beenon the low side and maybe the 95 could have been on the high side ?

all my personal opinion of course.

sam
