....Dave Wallis..... (those of you in drivetrain should know who he is )

He fitted my Scoobysport downpipe for me today, for very little recompense (but in an attempt to pay him back I did slip him a bottle of 75% Trinidad puncheon rum).

Exhaust sounds like a Massey Ferguson though! Get a TSL one with centre section too, and hear that group "N" roar.

that reminds me I'm supposed to get a new gasket and new bolts, as my 2nd hand dpipe arrives this week.

Burr, did you get new bolts and gaskets? If so how much and where from?

No - didn't get any new bolts or gaskets. We crossed our fingers and they came clean out.

The in-car noise is too loud for normal comfort. Its a shame, cos the car is the family every-day car.

You end up getting out with a headache. Plus "peer" pressure doesn't help

Gonna stick with just the backbox I reckon.
