Hopefully spotted all the Gatso Cameras and Truvelos on the A14 and A1 this weekend, these roads must now be so safe! What if I had McLaren F1 or Jag XJ 220 would it be possible to be travelling so fast that you were too quick for the camera or sensors in the road? I don't know how many lines are painted or how far apart they are but as two pics have to be taken for evidence is it possible not to be on the second pic and therefore get away with it.All hypothetical of course.

I had a Snooper fitted both detector and deflector
But have just been shown this new GPS system that records every Gatso in the country and warns you when you approach it

You upload it via PC each week

If you discover a camera not on the system you press learn then if you are the first to report it you get £50

Sounds good
Its on order

I read a test that said that just over three miles per minute (180mph) was the speed you would need to be doing to MATCH the gatso flashes/pictures. They concluded that a Mclaren F1 was the only realistic car that would be able to outrun the Gatso - as you would need over an amount over 200mph

Plus AFAIK the Truvelo only take one picture? and use infa red at night, so you would need to be doing almost the speed of light

Presumably though you'd be able to use a cloaking device or spectral shielding?!

yep richards right, performance bike said that based on how far youd travel in the time BUT, youd be past the lines but not out of shot unless the round bent just after the camera (big prob at 150 plus!!) think you might still get police attention then!!
