Default Re-fitting rear wing on Blob STI

Hi all, long time member looking for some info please.

Had my Blob STI for 12 years now and noticed a small bit of rust coming through at the top right of the boot as the spoiler means the lid. Water seems to sit there so not surprising.

Getting it sorted and the boot resprayed but want to make sure I get all the right seals/grommets and screws for proper refit.

I’ve got the exploded diagram from Amayama which lists the bolts etc, but there doesn’t seem to be an actual seal listed underneath the spoiler. Should it be siliconed or anything as presumably there is some kind of seal between the spoiler and the lid? Or does it literally just bolt on?

if anyone’s removed and re-attached their wing and has some advice I’d be very grateful.

cheers

Hi, it's a common rust area. I'm yet to take my spoiler off to tidy up but I got a seal kit for it from RCM. They also sell just the bolts or just the seals. If you wanna shop around at least you can see what you need, or just order of them.

Hope that helps!

Excluding taxes. Not sure how much all the individual parts would be from Subaru and how much RCM tax was then applied..
But good on them putting it together as a kit, it's convenient and there's definitely a demand.

How's the Spec D doing?
