Can someone help me before I get to far into this. So long story short I’ve exploded 2nd gear. 03 wrx wagon!!!…. second trans I’ve sent on its way.

I milked the car home avoiding 2nd and all the other gears would let me engage…So I may have some back up parts….

But the question is, will the internals work with one another from USDM and the new JDM Tranny I just picked up (Ty754vbaaa)…. Yes I picked up the 4.44 rear diff to go along with it.

If it's a R180 rear diff your in trouble but yes it can be worked. What was your original gearbox code.

I’m not sure of the original code. I’ve swapped the trans before with a supposed 03 wrx tranny I purchased from a friend
