I also checked the EVO forum for info and came up with a lot of stuff from Justin Gould, he drives a Clio 172 and seems to know the Welsh roads like the back of his hand... check his site at

Open moorland roads here in Cumbria are ace. No hedges so you can see whats coming the other way.
