Version 2 open deck? Block?

Recently doing re build on v2 1995 wrxsti
Was suprised to see being a Open deck.
has anyone come across this?
i really thought these were closed deck..

These cars are old, really old now. The amount of stuff thats been swapped in and out, remember originally was never key all those years ago.

at that age I wouldn't at all be suprised to find an ODB as factory standard.............

Yes, V2 STI came with open deck as standard, the only V2 car to have a closed deck was the STI RA. After this all came with open deck apart from the 22B. All earlier cars (upto 95) had closed deck.
