2003 ForesterXT Auto gearbox
2003 Forester XT Black 93k miles - lovely thing. Barely run in... 
But I collected it from the garage on Tuesday with 12 months MOT, and pottering along on the way home the gearbox locked into 2/3, CEL and POWER light came on, and I limped to a local gearbox specialist who wants £1800 to rebuild and warranty for 12 months. And the tank was filled with 97...
Everything else works just fine - but is it worth fixing? I suspect cost will be north of a grand; but a good project vehicle for a Forester enthusiast..? Anyone for spares?
