I’ve a bud looking for a sti rear spoiler, when he bought his hatch wrx-s it had a big meaty varis
type wing on there but it’s poorly painted and not exactly the look he wants

so my question is, one will a hatchback sti rear spoiler fit direct to a wrx-s without modding
Ive got some photos below of the tailgate of the wrx-s can any confirm the sti rear spoiler is the
same as a wrx-s

If it is a straight fit dose anyone have a hatch sti rear spoiler for sale…

the two photos below are of wrx-s I’ve seen the first one is of the bolt hole locations on wrx-s tailgate
and the second I believe is a gen wrx-s boot and spoiler.

The narrow body WRX and the Widebody WRXSTI share the same Tailgate, so fitting is the same.
4 bolts/nuts and 3 clips

 

hi Don, are you saying any hatch sti wing should be a
direct fit to a wrx , if so will keep looking for a genuine sti wing seem to be
difficult to come by though

 

It means that if they share the same taigate panels the mounting holes will be the same for both.
In fact for MY08-10 they use the same spoiler.
