Default New radiator required for classic wagon

Need a new radiator and fancy an aluminium one but after looking there seems a big spread in prices.
I want something that isn’t going to fall apart in a couple of years.

any recommendations?

car is MY00 classic wagon

thanks

Steve

Get a standard one Sir the run of the mill fancy aluminium ones aren't as efficient as a standard one. My parts supplier delivers Nissens ones to the door in a couple of hours for £69 that's trade obviously

Can you still use the stock fans?
2 row or 3 row?

I bought my classic and the previous owner threw in a Golpher made in china aluminum radiator. I want to switch to a Koyo radiator but I am waiting for this Golpher one to leak or give me problems before replacing. Over 10yrs and this damn thing just won't die!
I cannot comment on track day performance but it works well on the street. Moving oil and water temps stay between high 80c to low 90c, water temp drops fairly quickly after the fans kick in at 97c in stationary traffic and OEM fan with shroud fit with very minor modifications. I live in a hot and humid climate that averages 31c during summer.

I would still recommend going with Koyo, their aluminum type s radiator for light tuned cars is priced well.

Yes just removed frame work that holes fans on, and swapped radiator over. Took a few hours, mostly filling it up with coolant correctly lol
