Jet hosing....
I'm going to install the black HT auto side skirts to my car and plan to remove the side skirts to clean them up before hand.
if I jet hose the car with the skirts off is it bad if the water goes in the holes where the skirts click in?
Same with the arch liners, I need to replace them but would like to jet hose the wheel arch before putting the new ones in. Do I need to wait or will the water find it's own way out?

Where is the fun in that??
Most of the water is going to flow out of the bottom after you remove the skirts as there are clips there too.
If you are that concerned about water inside the sill cavity then just get an air blower through the holes and dry it off. Get creative, put a little hose on it so it can go through the holes and get right up the sill.
@lockheed is right, dont start trying to put cavity wax in there unless its super dry otherwise you'll be on here asking why your sills fell off when the ht autos lip catches on a speed bump

I may be wrong but I know on my classic mini the sill has "holes" in them ie vents to vent the moisture out, so im sure even if any water gets in there it will disperse itself unless you trap it in there by means of gravity , either way as lockheed said if you want piece of mind 100 rubber grommets from screfix is only few quid and def wait till summer to do it or dry garage so u don't trap any moisture in there or it will just rot from inside
best of luck

Your probably better off getting new clips anyway for what they cost coz no doubt some would of become brittle with age and will break/snap when you try to remove um, you can get a pack of 6 from ICP for 7.49 on good ol' eBay.

The cills have drain holes. In fact, when you go to spray the wax in the holes, assuming the wax is the runny kind, make sure you don’t do it on a nice bit of drive way without any protection underneath, because you will end up with a stain the same length as the cill (ask me how I know).
ie it should be perfectly fine to get water in there, imo.
