Good to see it’s possible to get spares again without spending the ridiculous price these have been going for recently. Also good to see they’ve supposedly made some improvements too and aren’t just sticking with what they’ve always done while still charging a premium.

That reminds me, I still have an inner lamp for a classic. I’ll have to dig it out sometime as it was the only one I could find years ago. My Scooby has long gone so it maybe of use to someone.

These were really popular with Fast Fords, Performance Pugs and the like. It seemed everyone was putting them on their cars. But after a while they fell out of flavour and people were selling them for £150. We then entered the whole keep it as stock as possible but now its stock but with a few select mods and morettes have made it in that list. Its almost like when people started modding these back in the day, its that look but maybe more nostalgia or road rally look (cossies and escorts). On a classic the lights are just terrible lol.
But any way why pay £700 from a scalper on a used set when you can buy brand new for £400. The market is there and good on morette for picking it back up. Just look at the Ford tax and JDM tax. Its sickening.

I used to have a set on my MY00 classic, they were great until the lenses started rusting up and it was like using candles. Hopefully the new ones are a massive improvement to atleast 2 candles

Are there any modern upgrades to the lamps. I've noticed they do diamond and another version (can't figure out what ones are what). Is there a projector upgrade to them.

So has anybody successfully ordered from them yet? I placed an order towards the end of June supposedly in stock then they've promised dispatch the next week then the next and then the next. Then they promised a refund but for the last few weeks have gone silent. No refund and no delivery. Not looking too good. Paid by credit card so not too worried about being able to get my money back but still a pain in the ****.

I'm kind of hoping I've just had a crap experience but that they're still shipping to most people however I think Morette have a bit of a history of this kind of behaviour. Would be good to know if anybody has had their order fulfilled or if everybody is being left high and dry by them in which case people need to know not to order from them.

So here’s a twist. I got a delivery yesterday. Am I happy? Absolutely not. For one they agreed to cancel the order and refund on the 22nd of July. I emailed them twice after that (once a week) chasing up the promised refund but never received a reply or refund. Then out of the blue I got a dispatch email on Sunday not far off two months from when I originally placed the order 22nd of June.
So what had I ordered? One replacement mask/faceplate for my Bugeye lights to replace a damaged mask that they claimed was in stock when I ordered. But I must be happy now I finally have the replacement? Err not exactly. The replacement is very poor quality. Much thinner plastic, very poor shaping, mounting holes drilled much bigger than the originals and very close to the edge so I expect them to crack immediately and they didn’t even bother deburring anything. I spent over £100 on a fairly small piece of plastic at least expecting the quality to match the original but I’m very disappointed.
TLDR: terrible communication and very poor quality.
