If you want to post in wanted you need to buy a membership. Same with selling or pay a one off fee to post.

What bits were you after

i’m not sure from the colour but it looks like a wr1 ? or am i wrong ? , it’s the correct year for it , if so good choice , the problem about the part you are looking for they rot very quickly , no brand new options ? or make one up a bit of thicker aluminium sheet so it won’t rust , on top of that i think it was Don on here said it’s not needed , i personally would keep it 👍

As above good choice on the car , a bit of a favourite of mine 👍👍 , a few mot bits to sort , is it the horse shoe shape crash bar or the actual sub frame that’s the issue , im sure either are weld able , the parts you were looking for , megazip list them for about 40$ for both parts , plus 30$ shipping take the 20 per cent discount off it’s about 40£ total , then ask them about import costs , that’s for my Fsti which i expect is the same parts as yours ,or try uk subaru , or as Don said other options are remove it , and Don knows a lot more than i do 👍😁i still think the alloy bracket made up is the route i would go 👍

What ever you do please do not "tune" that car. Thats a WR1, quite rare edition, 500 made. Worth much more if left stock than modified "tastefully".

IMHO.

If someone or a car trader sold you that as a regular WRX STI then you must have had a what we call ... pretty **** good DEAL.

It is indeed a WR1, I've had it a few years now..... Its totally bog standard too, hence me trying to find the original bracketry... Just giving it a very gentle refresh underneath.
