Default Is SAMCO Still the Best Option

Hi all

Thinking of going a different direction with the engine bay colour scheme. One of the things I can't paint are the silicone hoses for the cooling system so this will have to be replaced instead. Currently I have SAMCO hoses in there but a replacement set in a different colour is almost £300 delivered with a few months lead time. I've seen other makes at a fraction of the cost but before I pull the trigger are all silicone hoses the same or do you get so much more quality with SAMSCO? Things move on and times change so are there any brands people would recommend for a good price.

I've seen these https://www.abwmotorsport.co.uk/prod...ater-only-blue

With tax come to about £72.

Thanks

I’ve used viper hoses before on a evo 8 and they were good quality tbh they felt the same as samco’s worth a look.

I did have a look at them previously but thy don't seem to do them for the classics. Thanks for sharing might assist someone else looking at their stuff, they do have other silicone items for classics though.

More and more places seem to be dropping support for classics unfortunately.

I quite fancy one of these for my Hawk STi, and it will match my stealthy black Samco turbo intake perfectly.
Samco is double dear really, but what are Fuji Racing like? I think they are made by ICP themselves?

I have their stealth coolant hoses and they seem fine. ICP say they don't react to oat coolant so that's a plus. I would have got their stealth looking inlet pipe as I prefer the stock look but they haven't made them yet. I like the OEM look with the silicone upgrade.
