Hqwkeye head lights. Jdm vs UK
Can someone please tell me if jdm headlights are hid, halogen or xenon please.
I ordered what I thought was the correct ones and although I'm expecting to swap bulbs over I can't see mounting brackets for the other electrical parts I need.
Have they sent me or have I ordered the wrong lights 🤯

I think i know where it's gone wrong.
I was watching both types of lights and then after posting that thread I unwatched the wrong ones. Bought these and only today tried to swap them over.
What's the difference between halogen & xenon. Can all uk cars use either?

from memory some of the Spec-C motorsport 'homologation' type cars still used traditional halogen lamps whereas pretty much everything else has HID

So it turns out the jdm version of these lights from Australia may not have the mounting brackets either for my ballast or other bits so not worth buying.
Looking the at the other JDM ones Don shared on my other thread I will need to swap everything over.
As the wiring runs through the light housing I'm not sure I want to risk breaking something trying to swap the bits over.
I think I'll replace with oem and swallow the price.
I'll sell these on for £650 (that's a loss for me btw) and buy oem.
@Don Clark
Is there a difference in years as the part numbers are different?
