Question Bee*r Rev limiter installation on 2004 sti

Hello,
I have a 2004 Impreza WRX STIand I ordered authentic Bee*r limiter, but the problem is that I don't seem to find the correct wiring manual for the my car. Only ones I found was in japanese, so didn't get much out of it. I found some old topics for older wrx's but not to my 2004 STI model.

Also I have the lhd STI as I live in Finland, so is it different on wiring or on ecu pin layout to from USA or JDM models?

If anyone has put the limiter on same car, I would appreciate some kinda wiring manual.

Thanks.

I bought it straight from nengun.com, cause I didn't want to take any risk it being fake like from ebay etc.

I certainly agree with the other replies regarding this "item" but to assist you in your quest, you can search on this forum for a number of threads on the subject using Bee R or Bee-R.
There is also some info over on Nasioc and YouTube

Your ECU's pinout is common to all European 2004 WRX STi's and is attached below as a pdf

The BR Rev Limiter information pages (Use Google translate)
http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/index.html

Installation manual - Page 6 for Subaru connections GDB uses S08 connections diagram (you will note these are the mirror of the official ECU pinout diagrams so be careful)
http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/revlimitter.pdf
Good Luck

Yeah I know that item is kinda waste of money and time, but gotta rice somehow and okay understood, thanks for answering.

Just a quick question as I found this pinout for -04 STI (http://www.northursalia.com/modifica...04_STi_ECU.pdf), but it seems to be different from the pinout that you send, so do you have any knowledge about why it's different or am I just missing something? Or is my link for the usa model STI's ecu?

Thats weird, maybe you need to go manually from the northursalia.com -> Tech docks -> Wiring guides -> MY 2004 STi ECU Pinouts to get it working? But yeah it seems that the latest pdf file you attached matches to the one I tried to link you.

Sorry if my questions sounds dumb to you, but if the pdf you sent me first is the right pinout for me, is the order on my ecu from left to right (B84, B137, B136, B135, B134) as seen on here http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/revlimitter.pdf ? Or did you mean that as it's mirrowed it would be like that from right to left?

And on that http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/revlimitter.pdf , I guess the black dots mean, that you should connect into these terminals, but It shows that I would need to connect some wire into connector B135, terminal 2, which should be crankshaft position sensor according to the pdf, but I should only need to connect the yellow (Engine speed output (rpm) B137, terminal 9) and green (ignition control, B137, terminals, 24,23,22,11) as I can take the power (red) for example from cigarette lighter port. etc. So I don't know if I should just ignore the crankshaft sensor thing or what should I actually do with it?

More the plug layout was mirrored
Just compare the layout of pins for each plug

It has been known that between JDM and European ECU's the camshaft and crank sensors are reversed at the ECU.
As such I have no idea if this applies.
I have no further knowledge on the subject, you may need to look elsewhere for confirmation

My mate had one of these on his hawkeye WRX and it made loads of rev limiting noises and pops and bags and in his own words "did absolutely no harm at all to his engine".

He's currently installing a new engine after the last one let go.
