Where to get stiffer springs? wagon wrx
Hi
I´m after stiffer/trailer springs for the rear suspension to a subaru impreza wrx wagon my01-07. I´m not after lowering springs but standard height (about 325mm) preferably a little bit higher, but standard height is good enough and progressive. Anyone know where to get that?
Cheers
Tobias

Yes 375mm, the height is really not an issue, I have spacers also that is about 9mm. The main issue is, that i want rear springs that are stiffer then oem and progressive, so the more load the stiffer the spring

39N/mm is stiffer than the stock wrx wagon rear spring. 25% - 50% stiffer, depending on what year wagon you have.
To increase spring rate you have closed coils at the top or the base of the spring.
These closed coils are, say 20N/mm, when open. When the car is at its static ride height, the lower rate coils are closed - that is a progressive spring.

A little update, got in touch with Lesjofors here in Sweden that makes springs and told them about my problem, they didn’t have springs specifically what I was after, but they did recommend to use the forester springs instead for the rear, combined with the Impreza strut so the springs will be more compressed and therefore more stiffer, so I’m going to try that.

Well I guess I have to find out 😅, well the spring itself seems to be thicker also, so maybe that will stiffen it up to, and for the harsh ride? It’s an old forester and the springs isn’t expensive either and also help from sagging it down when I load or tow something but thanks for the info, have a nice weekend
