Hawkeye WRX 2007
Good evening fellow Scooby Owners,
I've just took ownership of my first ever Subaru a 2.5 Turbo AWD WRX (230bhp) from 2007, it's pretty much stock across the board so I was just wondering what subtle Mods can be done to it to improve performance, economy and overall looks. I'm a total noob to the world of Jap Performance Cars so any help/advice would be highly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Callum

Welcome mate. First mods i did to mine were exhaust and a front lip spoiler, hawks look much better with a lip spoiler in my opinion, as for economy just don't drive as fast but it's never gonna be great.

Get some pictures up!
Really depends on what you want the car to be but could look into wheels and tyres, prodrive springs, brake pads and fluid, that would be my starting point. A good sounding exhaust is nice, too of course!
As for economy sell it and buy something else! .

I know its never going to be 100% fuel economy but I've heard their is a tune out there that better uses the Turbo etc haha, and as for selling it I never would
Here is my current pride and joy, I may put Prodrive springs on then get some spacers for the wheels to bring them out slightly.

Welcome to the club!
It's easy to hit 320 bhp on one of these with some secondhand parts.
Prodrvie sports cat = £250 (remember to remove the second cat too)
VF43 or VF48 turbo (these are from the 2.5 STi) = £350
255ltr fuel pump = £100 (I think for a new one)
Remap = £350
plus labour
As the engine is standard, I have heard it is best to limit the boost at no more than 1.25 bar.
Enjoy

Lowering Springs
Slightly off topic, I'm currently getting JapSpeed wheel spacers to beef out the car slightly. I've come across Whiteline 30mm lowering springs, are they any good?
