As per the post any idea what sensor this is mine has completely snapped.

from the position of the photo, it looks like the speed sender sensor , easy to remove and can be found easily on line , when you tighten be carful , i take it the speedo is no longer working ? it should be a three wire plug

yes mate Speedo has stopped working and the car now idle’s like crap would the sensor affect that to?

i had a sensor fail and car went funny but the sensor started working again so maybe , change the sensor and see how you go , if the sensor fails it will throw up a code mine threw up a p0502

when you do swap it , put a little bit of grease on the little metal plate inside the sensor , that connects the sensor to the sensor in the gearbox , it stops the plate falling out of the sensor , the flat metal plate needs to drop into the slot in the gearbox , don’t twist the top of the sensor it can break it , turn the main body of the sensor to screw it it , should be tight enough by hand they can be fragile 👍
