Who'd be up for a group buy - panel filters, induction kits etc...

The two that spring to mind are:-

1 ITG replacement panel filter (a cheap buy)
2 HKS Green Mushroom (expensive buy)

Any other suggestions - or let's vote and I'll get the wheels in motion....

Wink

If the HKS fits MY00 without having to rebuild the engine bay :rolleyes) i'm in for that type.

I reckon that you should organise the buy under the banner of "Filters/Induction Kits Something for all budgets" rather than one or the other. Most suppliers do both anyways

Just thought i'd increase your workload

Nice one though, i'm in

Mikey Off to Prague for a week so i'm afraid i can't help (Tee-Hee)

Stupid question- but is the ITG filter a direct replacement for the original? (MY00)
If it is I want one.
Cheers Rasher.

Cool

Very tempted but still a tad concered about the oil related filters & MAF even on me allegedly more sturdy MY97 So i may also be more up for apexi, if u can find sum1 selling em, or any other pucker sucky devices Can u please stop temtping me my credit card is taking such a beating from all these GB's
So the next obvious question is how much are we looking at saving on wot for how many?
Si (nearly on board)
PS a few decent induction typa posts i believe on these:

In answer to your questions, as the general population are more interested in the ITG panel filter than any induction kits, that's what I'm proposing.

Yes, it is a piece of p1$$ to replace, and yes, it replaces the STANDARD air filter. No unnecessary surgery is required on your beloved Scoob either

The price - this is the $64,000 question. The retail is about £45ish. I'm currently in talks with how much it will cost

Depends on how many are interested

As soon as I know, you'll know. In the meantime, I'll generate a list of how many are interested - bearing in mind that timewasters will affect the rest of the group purchase. Just a polite word of warning

Watch this space

TSL said to me the ITG filter does give upto 30% better air flow so even if figures r taken with a pinch of salt still a healthy increase
