Rear door handle

Default Rear door handle

Hi all,

Ok, the latest one is my rear drivers side door. The handle feels sticky when I pull it, and now the door wants to bounce open off the latch. After a few attempts it closes. The lock seems to work fine from the remote key.

Can I spray a bit of WD 40 in where the handle comes out (the lock end) wonder if that will loosen it up a bit?
It was so frozen a few weeks back but gently managed to pull the handle and open the door. Handle now pretty stiff. 2007 Hawk.

WD 40 never hurts anything worth a try, loosend up all the windows in my house today 😊

Used a small amount of WD here and there, seems sorted.....for now.

Sounded and felt like the rod re-positioned itself, may have moved slightly when it was iced up.
