Cyprus Rally
#1
Due to the lack of my monthly rallying fix in the UK due to the foot and mouth, we've decided to go to the Cyprus Rally at the beginning of June.
So if any of the locals or anyone visited last year, can give us a few pointers regarding spectating areas. We would be very grateful.

Went last year as it coincided with visiting the in-laws ha ha how convenient! first tip take loads of water as its darn hot and dusty !!!
Havent seen this years layout for the rally but i assume the stages will be similar if not the same as last year...
From having been to other rallies the whole affair is a lot more relaxed and open yet just as professional... last year my g'friend chatted up Burn's chief mechanic and he lets us open bonnets and pull covers off the car... top bloke top !
Paddocks and scrutineering allows you to get really close to all teams down the sea front at Limassol.
I did day 2 up in the mountains... big service area in Troodos which you can easily get to and the stages are nice in that they seem to end and start pretty close to each other so you can dash between stages easily.
If you manage the shakedown runs on the days before the rally are good too.. if you can find where they are doing it.
All in all top rally to attend as you can get really close to both drivers and cars.
If you need any more info.. drop me a mail
