Only if you can read Japanese

Applied model code Engine /Transmission options

Option code

Paint colours with corresponding part number suffix (pre-painted parts)
Trim codes - only 2 used in Japan for Revision A
B20 (Off Black) also very popular for UK cars
B10 (Light Gray)

IIRC

Trim codes were Area/Country batch build types, aircon, quick rack, suretrac diff, dccd, spoiler, 4 or 6pot brakes, roof vent etc fitted at factory

option codes, colour coded trims/mirrors wheels, alarms, prodrive bits etc. were fitted at port/Importer etc then off to dealer.

Alyn,

As good as it is, Their model code decoder doesn't actually tell you what the trim code means and doesn't include any info re: the option codes available or option code content.

@Don Clark The external model decoder doesn't show option/trim codes etc. But the one in V-Limited does

as above you need to actually 'engage' with the site, its run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts and has a LOT of very specific info on there BUT only if you are actually prepared to indulge...............

can't imagine many other sites (if any) have put the $$$ and effort into actually sorting the correct information out
