Default Tyres

Hi guys new wheels have arrived for my hawk wagon so question regarding going up a size and keeping rolling radius as near as poss so hear goes,
on my blob sti 55 plate I知 running Pilot sports 235/40/18s , on my hawk Which I want to change I知 running 215/45/17 s,I was thinking of putting 235/40/18 s ,the same as my blob ,can someone tell me if they will be ok or do I stick to 225 or 215

The need for width/profile change will be driven by the change in offset/ET.
