Default Rad failed on way home

my hawk radiator went on the way home today, i nursed it home (about 2 miles) and the temp guage went just over 3/4 way up would that have caused any damage?

it seems to have split at the top just left of the bonnet catch

No mate not got a tow hook on it. If rcm get back to me and it's cheaper than thwaites and the transport costs then I will drive it around to them, literally 1 min drive if that.
Failing that I will get it recovered to thwaites
