So on your "other thread" you now say "already got nice back system".
So what is this 2011 WRX STI ?? and back system?

If it's a 340R you will only have one cat plus Pro-R/Scorpion back boxes, if it's standard or 320R you'll have 2 cats as usual.

I've been running mine for the last 9 years with both cats retained and an H&S cat back system at 340bhp/360 ftlb (Subaru 340R map)
Plenty loud enough and MOT friendly.

So JDM....(would have been helpful up front).

In that case your "second cat pipe" (44611AA460) may not be a cat.....

Further checks suggest it is a cat
Depending upon vehicle "revision", C or D, it may be part number 44611AA720 which also has a cat

Yeah it's an import.

So meaning I should only have a cat on the downpipe right? And theres only 1 downpipe?

Sorry new to Subaru

Thank for the patience.

See updated post above.

Janspeed downpipe would replace both.

The A-line is also a 2.5L engine so will have all the problems that the UK cars have re: Head gasket failure and broken ringlands

Then based on above you only have a cat in the downpipe. You need this for MOT.

To make it louder you could fit a straight through instead of the resonator box.

I would expect as it’s HKS it must be fairly loud already.
