Towing Capabilities...
I would love to know how much our cars can tow.. Also if a hitch will fit with Aftermarket exhaust without having to use kart boy XL hangers that make em hang and look like ISH. I've seen Subies pull Jetski's which is a plus. Can they pull lil Seadoo jetboats? Can I back down a ramp without being pulled into the water lol...

I tow a caravan with my hatch as I did with my classic. I've never actually got an accurate answer to the weight question.
According to the sales leaflet for my classic, the turbo limit is 1000kg. The N/A model is 1200kg. Strange.
The caravan club recomend 85% of kerbweight but that's only a recommendation.
At a caravan show, there was a stand with on line info on towing weights that said my hatch is restricted to 1000kg by Subaru.
VOSA are the folks who check vehicle weights. They look at the weight plate on the vehicle, it's normally in a door opening or under the bonnet (bottom of B pillar on the hatch and easily missed). That gives max weights for front axle, rear axle, total vehicle and gross train weight (total weight of car and trailer). If the car is on max weight, you can tow 1200kg. According the the VOSA man I spoke to, if the car is below max weight, the trailer can bring the train weight up to max. ie you can exceed 1200kg.
If you want to be absolutely sure, assume 1000kg. You may argue up to 1200kg easily. Over that, you may get away with it if you're below gross train weight.
Having said all that, in over 40 years of towing various trailers, I've never been weighed. Sods law says it will happen now.
