That's great news WREXY, thank you very much you letting us know , I appreciate it.

There are still some more improvements we can make, and the real test will be tomorrow when the traffic goes back up to normal levels.

All the best

Agree with Simon ... no sign of any muppet activity yet.

Wait until they are testing the limits of flood control again

Dougie are you using the www or bbs address for scoobynet? This used to happen to me when I used the www address so I changed to bbs.scoobynet.co.uk and all the light bulbs lit up....

I always have to use my refresh button to see the newest post on any thread....is that what you mean?

Sal

Thanks guys

Dougies
That will be due to your browser settings.

The lightbulbs will probably be due to cookies being disabled.

Cheers

I don't want to **** on anyones bonfire, but the bbs is so slow. I've seen snails move quicker.
When I go elsewhere on the net things move at normal speeds.

It definitely still seems *way* faster this morning (Monday) from my Works highish bandwidth Pipe (T3) than it was last week.

Is it the dynamic content or the threads that are slow? Or both? and compared to what?

Greg
The move was made yesterday afternoon, but the network traffic is at the lowest point of the week on sunday morning so this could have caused the improvement.

All the best

Wow! what a difference.
Sunday night about as fast as a Fiesta 950 popular plus, today a scoob with PPP, full decat system and octane booster.
Don't know what the problem was but its f***ing quick now.
