Default What diff is this?

Morning gents,

I've taken this diff off my 1996 STI V2 Imported Impreza. Any idea what diff it is?

Gearbox code is TY752VBCAA (5-speed) but can't find any information on the diff by searching the numbers/stamps.

Cheers

Search for the gearbox code in here. According to this it should originally be a viscous LSD or sure truck (sure track I think) LSD

http://www.catherineandken.co.uk/sti/trans.html

That sad, i'd be tempeted to open it up for a nosey.

It's coming back as D+E.

Does that make sense to you?

Look in the next section for D & E
Could be either "Screw refuse type LSD - 27011AA280" or "Sure truck mounted LSD"

As Lewis says take the cover off to check.
