when the other half got a quote on the new yaris 1.3 SR she is buying, it was just under a grand with her only on it.

when she asked about putting me on it aswell (they obviously havent seen me driving) the quote went down to 620 quid.

hows that happen then ?

Thumbs up

good aint it!

its true though, you nearly always want 1 named driver, but with a lower risk factor. Cant remember the exact reason why, but it works, so dont complain!!!

I would guess they assume that a lower risk driver will be driving the car for a fraction of the time and so will mean the overall risk to them is reduced!

Cool

Same happened with my Scooby and my wifes Corsa...

Adding my wife to my Scooby insurance reduced the premium by £100...

and visa versa adding me to her Corsa but only about £40...

cool...

Also sounds more responsible I guess to have a husband and wife policy?

ho ho JGM

PS : Don't moan, normally it is anything to increase the Policy.
