Default Why can`t you buy a RCM oil filter online ?

Whilst you can order a black oem oil filter from most RCM suppliers on line, like Advanced Automative, ASP, RCM, Scoobyworx, you can`t buy a RCM oil filter online.
Have they been withdrawn, or am I missing something?

Doesn`t work. Darrell at Scoobyworx tells me there are none until next batch lands.

That's a Subaru filter, not a RCM one!

The "RCM" one will just be a relabeled Subaru. I would be shocked if RCM are actually manufacturing oil filters.

ahhh i get you now

i would assume RCM done their own relabelled version of the black JDM one originally due to the dodgy blue ones at the time, but its probably easier/cheaper/more profit on them just stocking the black oe item and sell that?

you could always ask RCM themselves

the RCM filter is NOT and never has been the same as the genuine Subaru JDM spec BLACK oil filters.................

it was based on a WRC spec higher performing filter but there hasn't been any stock for quite some time dure to a manufacturing issue i believe (there are plans to try and get them re-made its just hit a small hurdle)

the JDM Subaru filter is good quality (and better than a lot of 'performance' items) but is out classed if you look at the RCM

similar but in tests it was always the 'best' performing of the HP filters.............

as always when they are available again then no doubt you know who will have them first..........
