I replaced the Sigma system with a Clifford Concept 650 with blackjax (anti-hijack) system and turbo timer. Got a type R as well with one of these fitted and personally think you cant go wrong with these. Just make sure you check out Clifford’s website to make sure you use an authorised dealor =

This is me Chris is referring to, not many to chose from that's on a current updated Cat1 insurance list, my advice is get Chris to fit it, its a very professional job, & he fits all the trim back properly, not the usual retard job you see all to often.

Clifford,Viper,Avital etc just to name a few.....are all under the Directed Electronics umbrella and are still a mainstream player in car security...I have been using Clifford alarms for donkeys year now without any problems, they make very high quality alarms and have done so for years.SJ.

I too will be in the need to replace an existing alarm and add remote central locking to my JDM STI soon. Like others I’m keen on the Clifford concept 650mk2 and I’m looking for a quality fitter to install it for me. Researching alarms the same thing always pops up, it’s only as good as the person who fitted it.

Who is this Chris mentioned above and does he travel or based in one place? Contact details for him if someone has them would be most useful.

Ive a shop local (Bedford/Northants) to me who I’ve had work done for me before and would defo not use them again. Unfortunately it seems they’re the only ones local who advertise they fit alarms.

Can anyone shed any light on what alarm they chose, more specifically who fitted it and whether they were happy with the job.

Thanks in advance.

Binny
