Can't be bothered to read to the bottom of the bike vs car thread but surely on the road it is irrelevant as it comes down to who is prepared to risk the most? I had the misfortune to be in Dartford, Kent over the weekend and got hassled by every spotty, baseball cap wearing teenager going and I'm sure they all went away thinking they could be quicker than an Impreza. They were prepared to risk speed cameras, running people over and generally being nutters at the slightest opportunity.

I suppose it may be a case of getting older and wiser but it's just not relevant to compare on road performance against anything as it comes down to who will risk the most - not clever. The best moment was watching a **** in an XR2, no seatbelt, hunched over the steering wheel one handed, lighting up the inside wheel by the Paper Moon pub before almost nailing the car in front and then swerving across to park by the take away -he looked so pleased with himself too!
(Nearly as funny as the two guys fighting outside the same pub and the the one who punched the other one to the ground picking him up and hooking him over the railings so he could be sick into the road - what a lovely place!)

Let me explain

Firstly God drives a Scooby (old shape of course)!

Secondly - Scoobies are faster than any other vehicles including a Maclaen - I did one last week going down Park lane, left it like it was standing still

Thirdly - All other cars are w@nk

Fourthly - Bikes just get in the way - ban em all!
