Default Indigo gt

Hi guys

i had had my car mapped by indigo gt before Christmas and always had the cel come on because of a maf problem when I asked Anthony he said it was a bad maf so I bought a new one from Subaru and still had the same problem. About a month ago I had enough and started to talk to kev at scoobyclinic and done a build with them anyways when I got up to scoobyclinic I done a power run at the start of the day and turned out that Anthony max out the maf and it was running a hell off a less power than the dyno print out I had from him.

The question is should i let anthony know and what should a say

just messaged and this is what I had back

I saw this online. Did you have an airleak as it looked like that as both the fueling was richer and the torque came in late suggesting a leak at the base of the inlet manifolds.

yeah I know mate just wanted to see what he would say. I had a leak test before the dyno anyways so it was not a leak and once I told him he said it could be the way they strapped the car on the dyno

So after a couple of emails back and for with Anthony he's basically put it down to the car being strapped down wrong at scoobyclinic haha 😂. He did try and blame my inlet manifold could of been leaking but the day before it went up there I had taken it of for a repaint and put new gasket and bolts from import car parts and they was talked down to spec and had a leak test done.

I didn't even have the right mods to be pushing 396 anyways as still had standard fuel pump (was told by last Onwer it was changed but wasn't) and standard fpr

Hope people read this and learn from my mistake take it to the pro no matter how far away they are, I know I will only ever take mine to scoobyclinic as from my experience with kev and the boys there they know there stuff and they have transformed my car
