Default Drivers mat locator thingy

Does anyone have a spare one of those metal drivers side mat thingys that bolts to the seat?

I had one in my 1st Impreza and the mat rarely moved but with my genuine mats in my blob the drivers side keeps popping off the stupid plastic thing and ending up under the clutch pedal.

I've tried other options, velcro, different mat locator pin but it just moves around too much in the main carpet.

Driving me nuts tbh, may end up making one if I cant find one but I know theyre out there.

The thingie that goes on the seats is available with the genu8ne hatchback model mats
The genuine mats shouldn’t come off the plastic thingie I fact I have problems taking them off that plastic thingie it’s on that tight
Will update later with pics if I can

I got fed up of my mat moving every few days so I stuck a cable tie through the eyelet and around the seat rail. Not the most elegant solution but it's free (or near enough) and easy. Hasn't moved since. Just have to cut the cable tie if I need to take the mat out but I have a million and one of the things so not a problem for me.

The problem is that the carpet wears thin around the hook so the hook and carpet are no longer stay in place. I drilled a hole in the plastic base plate of the hook, down into the chassis and stuck a 1.25" black screw in. Sorted.

Oh, and then treated myself to some new mats off Ebay. Good fit, with STi emblem. No longer available from Subaru.
