Spoiler Adhesive ?
#1
I’m in the process of fitting my DR Motorsport front lip spoiler to my 98 Sti3 but can’t get either of the Adhesives that they recommend - Sticky-Flex or Tiger Seal.
Has anyone used any other types of adhesives or does anyone know where I can get Tiger seal or Sticky Flex?
Kevin.

I think you / they, prolly mean Sikaflex? Crap name I know but bloody good stuff!
I'd try your locl motor factors, failing that Halfords will prolly keep it?
I'd recomend some degreaser aswell, firstly to clean the panels and secondly to clean the excess glue off.... trust me, there will be an excess of glue, I merely have to look at tube and I'm covered in the stuff, prolly worth getting some latex gloves and a load of rags too
Good luck

Aha, thanks Bob.
The email from DR Motorsports said Sicky-flex, I guess he meant Sikaflex. Turns out that's what I've bought to try anyway and I'm giving it a go on the old spoiler at the moment. Guess I'll be getting all sticky tomorrow then.

Kevin, I just asked David to order some of that for me when I ordered the spoiler, unfortunately I can't remember exactly what it was called, any adhesive that doesn't react with the spoiler should be ok, I would recommend testing a little bit on the botom of the spoiler first before doing it for proper to make sure.
