Looking for a white hawkeye jdm sti
Went out in my first Subaru a few weeks back and it's really got me hooked.
Been looking at them since and decided last night im going to get one
Really fancy a white hawkeye, sti jdm spec.
From my brief look the jdm seems to be the more reliable 2.0 twin scroll?
Question, did they ever do them in red?
Are there any things to look out for when buying?
Any help would be great as new to Subarus
Thanks

The spec is better than the UK model.
It really is horses for courses on if you want the UK or JDM, JDM versions are all in the lower tax bracket.
Try Torque GT or Brave Auto to see what they have coming in but the Yen rate is making imports very expensive but the car will not have a spot of rust or road grime on it in comparison to a UK car.
Personally for me I would not buy another UK car. On JDM no.5.

You can get red but they are quite rare in the UK. The JDM Twinscroll does lack the classic four pot off beat rumble but they suffer less than the 2.5 UK engines.

Thanks Trooper
I've just had a look and nothing suitable at the moment but will keep an eye out.
My car was sold yesterday so now on the hunt

This is the only one for sale I can see at the minute:

What are peoples thoughts?
Very tempted to look at it this weekend. Ideally would like one private from an enthusiast though

I’m not suggesting it would or could let go , I’ personally think any one with common sense buying a car with a blue printed engine & forged internals on such a big mileage platform would be taking the engine out . No way is it in spec at that Milestone. / as stated it’s a rare car & certainly not a daily driver to Halfords & mc Donald’s via the nearest traffic jam lol
... just my opinion ,
