Default Picking up this baby on Saturday

So time to let the WRX go and move to something a bit bigger. I'll get some pics up once I get her home and a full run down of what's already been done.
Very Excite!!!

Congratulations!

From a fellow 2004 Forester STI owner. You'll absolutely love it.

In practise are they actually bigger than an Impreza? They share the same wheelbase for example.

I haven't driven an STI but the XT i year drove a while back was much bigger and practical inside than a saloon or wagon.

OK. I only ask as I was parked next to and FSTi at the petrol station the other day and the wheels, rear seats and dash aligned perfectly with my wagon, so I couldn't see how the cabin space was any larger. Possibly a little wider (although more to do with the body/arch extensions than interior, as they are only 5mm wider than a saloon) but as I say, the wheelbase is exactly the same as an Impreza. Obviously the boot is larger as the exterior is a bit longer and tailgate is near 90 degrees.

It's got a bigger boot so I can actually get my dog in it and still rag it around. Plus I play guitar in a band and once loaded up the WRX wagon I've got is full to the brim with amps and stuff.

Only fractionally bigger as the GD Impreza chassis is the base for the SG Forester. I have had both.

Me too. Especially seeing a Fsti on the road rumble past.

There's a Forrester XT prodrive edition on auto trader at the mo that's tempting me. Must, stay, strong

Never knew there was a fxt prodrive even made. This is a game changer for me instead or pining over a fsti I realistically won't ever own.

Just found one up the road with full service history and everything part wise already done for 3.5k in minty mint condition.

Now the scheming begins to somehow get it without the misses chopping my hands and feet off

That's the one. Looks a cracking motor for the money.

I did get it yes and it's awesome.

The weather has been crap so I've not been able to get any, plus I need to wash the poor thing as it's now a brown/blue colour.

I'll get some up at the weekend when I can get her nice and clean again.

But Merlin24 has seen it.
It's off for a set of disks and pads all round next week, G-hooks from Godspeed. I had them on my WRX and they were fab, a few times I had to remove my face from the dash.
Then oil catch can (not sure on how to do this yet) but I'm sure I can get some help.

Drive it, if it lets go REBUILD then stupid power that I'll never use LOL
