Default JDM hatch backs

I've owned 3 and they are amazing cars. I think the JDM hatch backs are the best kept Subaru secret, great all round cars.

My favourite is the yellow then blue and then the white but all look good. The hatch is so understated for a Subaru and that's what makes it the perfect car for me to razz around in under the radar.

You didn't put a picture up of a yellow one.
I could be swayed.

I'm not too fond on these in standard form, think they need some nice alloys, lowering to give it the looks.

However do you think this has a better drive then the golf r ?

Nor before its even hit our shores, Darren you've been a very lucky man to have owned some nice cars there. Although I've not had a JDM hatch I was very impressed with the 330s I had, looked at getting another yet finding one with a forged engine was tough so started looking at the offerings from Hurst cars as they had a couple of jdms in which weren't that much more than some of the forged 330s I saw.

Ended up with a golf r in the end as it's under warranty and wanted piece of mind as I'd had a turbulent 12 months work related.

The new owner will be very happy with it I'm sure

330's have a great spec ('Prodrive pack', Recaro's, push button start, sat nav, 18" wheels, nicer looking exhaust etc)

And what about that power. 470 N.m (@3,400 rpm) is some grunt, and that's without any tweaking

Compare that to a Spec C at a mere 422Nm (304hp)

I nearly bought a forged 330S, but decided, ultimately the 2.5 was a plodder compared to the 2.0 twin scroll

The thing I like about Jdm hatches is the exclusivity of them
I believe I am the only person in eire with a Jdm hatch
Not against importing them but ....

hedgecutter, very nice. I see your Spec C has a red starter button instead of a normal key which if I am not mistaken only 20th anniversary ones have (and perhaps R205s?), was that an option?

Thanks Don, I remember you mentioning something about the start buttons a while ago and I remember you changing the one in yours with the red one
