I've just noticed that from the above vehicles only the 20th anniversary one (first pic) has headlight washers.

Why is that? Don't all JDM hatches have xenon lights and headlights washers as standard?

 

The answer to that is probably no.
Would appear to depend upon which Option Pack selected when ordered

 

Do the ones with non-xenon headlights come with a rotary switch to manually adjust the height of the beam?

 

Goes where the blank is under my red start button above (The LH rotary dial adjusts the dash illumination}

No starter button on mine; maybe PT82 has one?

 

Mine has keyless entry and a start button, but it's not red.
Are there any details of what's included with the different option codes? Mine is ECC.

Mine has a starter button double checked not red

 

As per my previous post the red STi start button is limited to the S206, tS and 20th Century Anni models as OEM equipment. It can be purchased as an accessory.

They all Have HID headlights, headlight washers is not a requirement in Japan.

 

Not all - SpecC with option pack 93 does not

Only models that don't appear to come with Headlight Washers are SpecC's and R205's and any others with option packs GR or GV

 

Does anyone know if it's only the Spec C that has a VF53 turbo?

What turbos do 20th anniversary and R205 have?

A "normal" 2.0 JDM hatchback STi has a VF49 if I am not mistaken.

Has anyone managed to silence the annoying beeping upon selecting reverse?
I did that in my FSTi but I have no idea where to start in the hatchback.

If it's the integrated unit then the Hatch one is to the right of the A/V unit
