new cheap daily
Running the Type R daily is expensive work. Especially as I am in field sales.... Hey it's always a talking point when I rumble up to a meeting...
but decided to get a cheap and cheerful run around.
I get a car allowance so the money I paid for this, I will have paid it off in 3 months (man maths) got full ticket on it and I just drove it a hundred miles and it's great. East 50 mpg and it has a nice turn of pace for an old diesel.
no knocking DMF which is common on these and injectors seem spot on.
happy days for little money

Will see what happens. They need a refurb so I will get them off at some point and see what I have in my garage.
I have a very nice anthracite that I bought for an Audi that I was gonna refurb but then he went gloss black.
definitely lowering it as they sit very high at the rear.
the Impreza is classified as a chavy car as well and It has always been a great talking point.
painted my Vectra alloys bright red and got loads of people compliment it lol I thought it looked great

The top left is multi stage green and I had it on my van... But that was a modified example running very wide wheels on coilovers wound as low as they would go.

I sell Merchant Services. So it's all chip and pin terminals as well as software that links into the terminals that basically guarantees 10 percent profit or the vendor gets their money back.
sell to garages and parts stores as well which is where having a slightly odd car helps me

Another 150 miles in the runaround without issue. Happy days. Hopefully buying cheap doesn't ALWAYS mean it breaks lol
so far 48.7 mpg and no funny noises apart from a knocky droplink.
Just chucked in another headunit that has Bluetooth so I'm sorted for songs as well
