Default Quick rack. Yes/ No

Has anyone fitted the above to Blobeye Wrx ?
Was it a big improvement?
Is it a worthwhile mod ?

Have one on my spec c, very noticeable compared to my last normal jdm takes a bit getting used too but i like it, very little impute on the steering to put it into a corner.

I've recently fitted an STI rack to my wrx, but not driven it yet.

the STI rack isn't as fast as the spec-c rack, but still an improvement in terms of speed (from memory, wrx is roughly 3 turns lock to lock, and the one I fitted was 2.4 or thereabouts).

it's a pain in the rear to fit, at least with engine in, because of the power steering hoses.

WRX 16:1
STi 15:1
Spec-C 13:1

WRX is 2.7 turns lock-2-lock

IIRC

** I think that ALL JDM STi Newages are 13:1 also.

Look on the American forums

Also note that early bug eye racks have a different link arm thread (m14 vs m16, but can't remember which way around), so tie rods are not interchangeable...

I think 2002 onwards will fit straight on.

the earlier bug eye rack also fits, but you'll need the same year tie rods too.
