Octane booster?
can anyone with experience please advice? Car is mapped on Tesco Momentum 99. I know the stories of it sitting in forecourt tanks forever etc and people worry about it degrading etc but it is what it is. My question is, if I head to my local track I cannot refill locally on 99, I can however on 97. Can I get away with 97 & a dash of Octane booster? I would go for Millers. I would more likely than not drive off boost post track/top up and I know this would help reduce ECU adjusting to lower octane fuel and then subsequently needing adjust again back to 99. This may be long winded but in short I'm trying to avoid damaging my engine and trying to find out what I can & cant get away with. For info this is on a 2003 JDM mapped on Ecutek by Andy F. I could message Andy but he is a very busy guy and must get a million emails a day about random stuff. Thanks in advance 😊

Yeah I've been a complete tool! Just spoke to the track in question and they said "bring Jerry cans and keep it in the garages at pit lane". I don't know how I overlooked something so obvious. I will go ice bucket challenge myself, it may wake me up a touch! Thank you from a very solid netter!!! 😔

Cheers plenty, worst case scenario I will carry an NF in the boot for emergencies. I'm sure there will be a set ratio but I'd only need a quarter of a tank to get me home if I play the game. Thanks for the advice, all gratefully received 👍🏼
