60000 miles or every 5 years - whichever comes first.

I would err on the side of caution especially with the reliable UK Pooh.5.

Do you have the service booklet? If not, why not?

I know from experience that Subaru use 2 different change schedules for the cambelt, possibly more - depending on whether it's non-turbo or turbo. From 2006 model year onwards, the cambelt change for turbo models is 50,000 miles or 5 years - it's 60,000 miles or 6 years for non-turbo engines.

It's possible that the STi needs more frequent changes but any Subaru dealer would know that - they certainly won't be longer!

As posted by Smithys STi above (who works for a Subaru dealer) for the turbocharged Hatch onwards it's 66K miles or 7yrs whichever is soonest.

If you were in the US its 105 months/105,000 miles

But would you seriously leave it that long knowing how sympathetic IM Motors are?
